I think it'd be an interesting experience. Sure, easy to do if you're out of your state.
As long as you're not infamous/famous for some reason, it should be really easy.
Just don't act knowledgeable, if you tske one, use your phone with another user profile (so you're arriving without wallets or apps). See what they suggest and why - plying them with lots of n00b questions.
Why am I thinking about this? Originally just to keep under the radar to get the measure of new people - good as an exercise in being humble and not full of yourself too.
One will surely be asked questions - such as, "How did you learn about Bitcoin?" or "where are you from".
In this case dodging questions or just asking questions yourself might be the way to go, you're not out to hustle or hoodwink anyone - but some out there might attempt this on you. A fake n00b identity could be a good way to see this a mile away. In fact, all of this might be pretty good OPSEC. If over a good amount time and get to trust them you could let more about yourself and both of you see this a fun story to look back at.
Hiding your knowledge though might be difficult - maybe watch Peter Faulk 70s reruns as Columbo (pictured above) an old, shabby seemingly clueless but brilliant detective - I think It'd be easy to pull that one off - but I might have to dress up (not down) to reach his smartness.
See you, and good luck 🙏
Oh, and one more thing...
...if you want to learn more on the fictional Columbo character who solved crimes in a series spanning three decades see: https://wikiless.org/wiki/Columbo?lang=en
Come for the intriguing and mysterious question. Stay for the Columbo knowledge drop.

If you try it, you know we'll be all ears...

this must be filmed somehow... will be awesome. Indeed like a Colombo scenario...
reply
Well, you haven't made your face known to everyone just yet - so if there's a time to do it beforehand a good time would be now.
Your version of the, "Oh one last thing..." line might be the biggest moments in Bitcoin circles and in WWF too if someone tries to hustle you.
Just ask if they're on social media, follow as Darthcoin and when the look up and realize get your black gauntlet out.
reply
Will be nice to be prepared with some dummy questions to put the organizers a bit in trouble to see if they slip on the shitcoinery slope and/or know very well what they are doing. But not pushing too hard... you are not there to destroy the event. Also some questions for the audience, to test.

As well as a gauntlet bring a simple, small seesaw or pulley system and harness to events.
It'd make great souvenir picture for fans to be lifted up with the force (of mechanical efficiency).

I gotta stop trying to teach grandma to suck eggs.
Oh I LOVED Inspector Columbo!!
He always threw a reference about his wife in almost every episode. He used to solve all kinds of crimes so elegantly! Just brillant. Oh and his voice...
You know what, I'll watch me some. Oh and I'll attend some meetups as a noob. I find this an amazing challenge for myself. 😌🫡
reply
Ah, I totally forgot how Columbo used to reference his wife.
Best of luck on your quest!

You're immediately promoted to Detective Inspector.
However, I'm guessing you might have to channel it, and hide it, better than the rest of us though!
reply
its ok. i did the ultimate blunder. i had my seedphrase on my server and it got hacked and 33 bitcoin drained when it was at 67k

Demoted to the desk.
