People don't know how to save money in a secure currency that is always 1 out of 21m. So they spend now instead of getting less for it in the future. And then they have no reserve for small emergencies in life. It's actually pretty sad.

From 9% to 22% of Americans have bought Bitcoin. I'm guessing they don't include that in their statistics. If a reader of this considers Bitcoin a form of value storage, then FREDs model is broken, so this is kind of a useless metric.
