Ask Ross about that...
Yeah, that would be interesting. The people that put him away should be behind bars.
A couple of them are :)
Oh one hand, fuck that scammer, on another hand, let the free market decide, if you fell for the obvious scam that's your responsibility.
A scam has nothing to do with free markets. Infantile people who think they are being clever say things like that. Incredibly elementary that a valid contract requires a meeting of the minds as its basis. 🤡
"Ho ho ho, you thought that gun I put to your temple had real bullets, jokes on you, sucker, it was empty! Maybe next you'll learn about the free market and not get scammed! We made a free exchange -- I offered you something, and you agreed!"
10 years. Bring him back fast so we can have more crypto drama
What crimes did he commit?
100+ years in prison. Guys like this have no soul regarding other individuals earnings. Couple years ago I lost like $20 ( may not sound like much but in my currency it is.) investing in a company that also went bankrupt. Maybe you've heard of them. MTI. Today I'm able to claim back my investment but it's gona cost me more than what I've already lost.
Lesson learned.
This Turkish guy got 11,000 years:

If we reach immortality as Ray Kurzweil predicts, he's in for a ride.
Should he be fried or…
https://m.stacker.news/4440
He should have a sentence that is at least equivalent to what they gave Madoff. 150 years.
Life in prison for putting his hands into the money jar? Hard to justify more than 10 years for any non-violent crime. No way any of the bankers will face a single year when their pyramid schemes are exposed in the same way
https://nostrfiles.dev/uploads/5SotHpLVlkNB96asdPFh.jpeg
he stole money and savings from many people. Money = time, so much money = so much time...
Life in prison
Make him an example for others!
Polycule with Caroline:

Throw the book at that F%#@$$$@... so other morons like him be discouraged (doubt it tho).
It was deliberate, there is simply no way he didn't know, so Max it is..
He should be tarred and feathered
LOL who voted "forced to repay" ?
Are you guys retarded?
When you gave SBF your money, those money are not yours anymore.
So he never "defrauded" you... you defrauded yourself.
Fucking morons.
I will say 50 years as he has bribed a lot of democrats
He's a patsy. The politicians he paid off, his sleazy parents, and anyone else who was controlling him behind the scenes will never be held accountable.
I think more than 25 years of actual prison time starts to get pretty harsh given that central bankers have been more or less defrauding the public for the past 100+ years. Bare minimum 20 and he needs to repay as much as possible.
Part of me respects the bastard because he just looked at a corrupt system and thought if these fuckers can get away with it why shouldn't I be able to? But don't hurt the little guy in the process obviously.

I added that option because the criminal "justice" system doesn't actually care about justice. Anarchists have described a system where there would be no prisons but rather communities where those that have harmed others or stolen from others can work and their wages beyond paying for the privilege of food/board is sent to their victims as restitution. Under the current system in most nations criminals are housed at the cost of their victims. The status quo is more like a criminal revenge system. Not really about making things right.
So to answer your question. One scenario would be him being allowed to work and his wages would be paid to those that have valid claims against him. Now, it is highly unlikely that he would be able to repay them but I know he will not repay them in a prison. The US system just doesn't even allow for this sort of restitution.
I agree
Of the roughly $8.7b shortfall, FTX has recovered approximately $7b, with 90% of that $7b to be paid to FTX creditors.
People can expect to be paid back ~73% of what they (rather, SBF) lost on FTX if the bankruptcy plan is approved on December 16. It will be paid in USD, not Bitcoin or shitcoins.
I hope the people getting this 27% haircut learn an extremely important lesson…

Can someone explain why SVB cannot even recover $1 for its creditors and gets a full bailout and noone is charged with anything. But FTX is able to recover over 70% for its creditors, without a bailout, and the exchange is charged with all kinds of things :)
Yeah I totally forgot about that.
