I first got into Bitcoin when I was a first year university student i was using an app called premise to make some money online and the app had an option to withdraw with mobile card and coinbase i didn't know much about coinbase for long time i was using the mobile card option one day opened coinbase account and tried withdrawing with coinbase option and i received the money fast and it was paid to me with bitcoin i left the money on coinbase for a week and it increased in dollar value then i started reading and watching videos about bitcoin and after some year when i try to send money abord i realized how inefficient and expensive it was to send money across borders. I had to deal with high fees, long delays, and currency conversions I discovered that Bitcoin could offer a faster, cheaper, and more convenient way to transfer value globally. I was intrigued by its potential and decided to explore it further.

A friend made to get into Bitcoin but I ignored Bitcoin and follow other cryptocurrencies all because of airdrops but now I am fully back on Bitcoin, thanks to the introduction of lightning network and wallets.
Bitcoin is freedom.

Well I knew about it when I was 20 (2010), when it just came out. So no one told me: I'm a nerd yo, I got minecraft when it was still in alpha ;)
I found it fascinating technologically, but didn't understand it fully. The whitepaper was easy to recognize as being revolutionary (papers that aren't always try to "sound smart" instead of explanatory) but I didn't know enough and kind of disliked money (i was a leftist noam chomsky style anarchist back then).
I remember trying to buy some, but it was mildly complicated to do and I was too lazy, and didn't care that much anyway. Whoops! Hahahah.

First person I heard talking about bitcoin was Steve Gibson on Security Now! podcast many years ago.

β Man, all these years, I have been way too distracted with alt coins. Did not listen to my own advice. Just buy bitcoin.β

Greed. I was on the look to find a way to put my savings to work.
Oh boy, little did I know about the ride I was about to jump on.
