Being rich means having the resources to influence the system in which you participate: having the means to shape the larger (social) organism you are a member of.

So what is valuable enough to shape the system? Outside of material means (currency), an individual may possess knowledge, skills to distribute that knowledge, and a perspective that informs both their method and opinion.

Put another way, you can have something you know, a way to share it, and a moral compass. These three tools, coveting and cultivating them, over time may allow you to influence the world around you by only being yourself, effectively making you "rich" in a way that does not require buying the means to change society.

Wanting to work, not having to work

A rich life is being healthy, happy, have a good family and support system around you and to be or to have been rewarded enough financially for your efforts that you can choose what to spend your time on or work on.

I sold my business in Jan 2022 and a property I owned in the city and "semi" retired. I call it semi retiring because I put myself in a position that I still need to earn some income but I don't need to participate in the rat race to make ends meet. I can be selective about the jobs, projects, opportunities I pursue. If I only work part time, it's ok. If I don't work at all for 6 months because there are no opportunities I like, it's ok. If an opportunity comes up and it conflicts with something else I have going on in my life then it's not for me (just happened recently- contract job I wanted to take needed me in the office Monday's but my wife works Mondays and I watch our daughter, so no bueno for me).

This is how I have intentionally designed my version of a rich life after 15 years of working my ass off and sacrificing a lot.

Now that being said, I did buy a heck of a lot of Bitcoin in the past year so maybe I need to be less selective in the future if I keep stacking this hard. Haha.

Yep i think you hit it on the head. Being rich is having the ability to wake up without knowing what you're doing that day and doing/going to wherever/what ever that please you in that moment. This is why material is so shackling and detrimental to most peoples innate dream of sovereignty. You can enrich yourself with substantial wealth so that moving/doing what you want trivial or you can enrich yourself by shedding as much material from your life as possible.

To me, being rich means being able to influence and not being influenced by anyone else. In both cases, one party is victimized.

The best way, is to neither be rich nor poor. Use Bitcoin, don't victimize anyone, and don't be a victim.

Rich means having options and free time to do whatever and whenever I want.

Rich means going to the beach on a wednesday morning, travelling during low season.

Rich means working when I want to work, not when my boss says it.

That I am the owner of my own body, life, choices, property, labor, and time.

This. Time rich team.

It all boils down to Living FREE as in FREEdom

Doing what you want when you want while respecting others and not giving a damn about social judment.....being passionate about what you do and having people very close to you at heart with whom you share your time...

I do not see "richness" related to bitcoin. Yes, bitcoin is energy. Energy that can buy time and almost anything. But buying time doesn't make you rich. I think is a false idea that you must be rich (having a lot of money) in order to do whatever you please.

The homeless on the street also can do whatever he wants.

Free of mind

We should be "rich" by humanity, by culture, by knowledge by empathy, by love. That's what my definition of rich. Everything else come later :)

To have a constant stream of income, even if it comes in drips, to help me settle my daily expenses and give the Woah! that powers me through the grind haha
