I love SN and the value it offers .... if there was one thing I didnt like was the number of pasted links bombarding my feed .... Im glad people are posting real personal content rather than copy n paste worthless links

Agreed, especially twatter links that have literally zero content, just a one liner with no source.
The cost to post should definitely be increased.

The cost to post links maybe, but not the cost to post "discussions".
Links earn a lot of sats and offer a high reward / effort ratio.

I wish there was a way to add a body of text in addition to sharing a link, that might help foster more discussion in those posts.

I actually like the links. I've found a lot of interesting news and articles I wouldn't have seen otherwise. It has to do with bitcoiners' unique intersection of interests that you can't really find elsewhere
