after migration from LND to CLN - I'm looking for some medium size, but active LN nodes to connect to.
Why not to someone from SN...
anyone? :)

reply

Why the migration to CLN out of curiosity? I have a decent LND routing node and use my CLN less. Mostly because I like Thunderhub so much. What made you switch?

reply

I moved my LN node from VPS to own Optiplex 3050 i3-6100t
so I decided to try CLN and migrated from LND to CLN (i.e. from Go to C language), mainly to decrease my load on such weak platform (and power consumption and heat, btw :)
load average: 0.01, 0.04, 0.00 - so far so good :)

last but not least, I prefer balanced share of software, LND has too much share, and Lightning Labs already has used this power to force some of their ideas regarding LN, didn't care about ACINQ or Blockstream opinions:

actively been managing node for a while now, this is not my main stacker.news account cause I want to keep my privacy :)

Indeed. Make hay while the sun shines!

If you are looking to batch open channels I haven't heard many people mention this tool for doing that. LNDg does many more things but it also does this well.

Made a post with more detail

reply

I don't know about everyone else, but my node has been very quiet the past few days.

reply

Yup, finally force closed a channel with a node that was offline for a long time. Tick tock
