10% of income if you want to be aggressive. 1% if you want a safety net.

at least 69420 sats or 100% of whatever you can save after your budget.
Bitcoin is savings technology.
If you truly believe in it, you would even borrow money (fiat = debt) to buy more.

Recently I set myself the goal of stacking 5k sats every day. Sometimes I hit it because of the rewards from SN, but on other days, I fail miserably
Still it’s good to aim high!

I convert about 20% of my monthly income into sats but I'd say that's a moderate approach. At the end of the day it all depends on how much of your income you use to cover your living expenses and monthly activities. Whatever's left you should stack with.

Change your thinking.
Instead of “how much bitcoin do I need?”
Ask
“how much fiat am I forced to have?”
Budget:
1.Fiat bills: Have a fixed amount of fiat each month for your fiat bills.
2. Emergency fund: keep this fund in lightning or fiat, so it is available to use quickly. Build it up to a set amount and replenish if needed- set whatever amount is appropriate for you and your family.
3. Discretionary spending: hold these funds on lightning.
4. Savings: long term cold storage on chain.
Holding your discretionary funds on lightning really puts spending into perspective- “will I go for drinks or keep my 150,000 sats instead?” Etc.
Fixing the amount of fiat you need makes all additional funds (work commission/incentives, odd jobs) available for saving.

Just buy at once 0.1 and forget about it, daily stacking is idiotic. Btc goes to 0 ,no biggie. Goes mainstream, you ll have good chunk of money
