I may not be getting this right . .. But to zap on nostr I need to have some ln address like @walletofsatoshi.com or @getalby or whatnot. But all the addresses I can find are for custodial wallets. Is there some service allowing me to have an zap address while using my existing node/wallet?
Any other way to enable zaps other than these addresses?
Your Stacker News LN address and wallet. I know you can receive zaps at the SN address. I never tried zapping.

Okay a custodial option, but one I approve of in any case. Guess I'll use that for now :)

Btcpay with your own node and lightning address connected to alby

You can setup LN address with LND using SatSale. There are plans to add CLN support for this too. https://github.com/SatSale/SatSale

I’m zapping from my node through Alby

If you have your own lightning node, you can host a lnbits instance, it can provide nip05 and a lightning address.

I set up a BTCPay Server. The latest version supports LNURL, and I also installed the Nostr plugin
When you zap me at sirgalahodl@satstream.me it goes to my non-custodial lightning wallet: https://iris.to/sirgalahodl@satstream.me

Forgot to mention my BTCPay instance is hosted. Obviously there is some moderate cost involved. It might be possible to make this work on your home node but in order for LNURL to work you need to set up DNS pointing to your server. In my case I didn't want to expose my home network to the world. There are a couple of one-click installers, see https://docs.btcpayserver.org/Deployment/webdeployment/
