You don't need to be pushed here on SN what is coinjoin good for.. just one point I'd like to mention
You don't take any risks - you're all in control with your hardware wallet ποΈYou don't take any risks - you're all in control with your hardware wallet ποΈ
Ignore the fud βοΈ
If you want to comply with LE, use this wonderful solution that is wasabi. They seem literally proud of it. "ignore the FUD", hilarious !
Please note that this involves all of the inputs you register to Coinjoin being checked against chain surveillance companies and censored if they aren't "approved", and your fees going to chain surveillance companies as well.
Trezor are also currently censoring any replies that relay this info:

Beyond pathetic
I'm also sorry that the coordinator doesn't take everyone to coinjoin, but I respect it. No one should be forced to serve everyone.
You are welcome to help us improve the tech if you want to be helpful @takaponka, @sethforprivacy, @falsefaucet
This list could include YOUR UTXOs one day, for any arbitrary reason.
Why does an individual utilize the conjoin/collaborative spends?
What is the purpose of using this privacy tech?
Imo it's an attempt to obscure the history of UTXOs. And there are varying reasons for this. Not all are nefarious or, would be deemed illegal by state/country governments.
This implementation literally checks the UTXOs (against what 'list') before permitting them to enter.
Now you guys as a company. Assuming your with trezor from your posts and defense of this, you guys have every right to do as you see fit. But the way this is portrayed as some optimal conjoining schema.
It's not imo.
Just as you guys have the right to do as you see fit. I have the same right to call it out.
No, you shouldn't serve anyone but you could try. Instead you serve LE. I'm sorry but 0 arguments can convince me that it is a good thing. There is no hate I'm just saying.
Thanks for you honesty. I will not try to convince you than..
Use whirlpool. Wasabi has no morals.
ignore the fud?
they literally say they are going to backwards check utxos.
Not to mention wasabi has been ousted as bad actors.
Noice
Does anyone here use JoinMarket with Jam App?
These are really nice.. It's just not that simple to use for mass market..
The CoinJoin is a good implementation for the mass. However like using custodial LN solutions, there are many other ways to do it better. The only thing that needs to be clearly to them it is that CoinJoin is not a good way to anonymize your sats.
Why do you think itβs not a good way?
I have only tested Jam App two times, I'm not confident with the Samourai Whirlpool vs Wasabi Coinjoin beef. So I starting to drift towards going with JoinMarket. Jam App have gone through some great facelift the last year and it is super easy to start working with it. I'm impressed.
I thought it is really easy to use and understand. The only thing that for me was kind harsh, was the first mix, in which I spent 30k sats, which could be only 800 sats.
