So, where have I been the last few weeks? Well I have been arranging todays Science, Space, and Technology (SST) Hearing on next-generation geothermal and critical minerals or more broadly put subsurface sciences! This has been something I have been working on since February and have had to postpone it twice, so the third time is the charm, I guess?!
Some might call it doxing myself, but for those who think I do not exist, I will be sitting in the chair right next to the Chairman. Unfortunately, we have 11 different Committees, including multiple subcommittees, that are also at 10 am, so we moved ours to 10:15 to give us some leeway. Attendance may be limited, but the information we hear will be extremely important for any and all subsurface legislation moving forward.
If it goes horribly off the rails please provide a detailed play-by-play breakdown afterwards.
welp thankfully it went smoothly! The Dems actually almost ended up with their turn passed because they did not have anyone to ask questions. Rep. Friedman from Cali literally walked in, and it immediately went to her.
