I’ve been building this world for years — hardware, OS design, philosophy, and now the story that ties it all together.

This is the opening of Book One in my trilogy.
Mythic‑cyberpunk, cosmic archaeology, documentary realism, and a countdown that fractures the world.

Posting this here as proof‑of‑origin and to start sharing the build.

Chapter 1

The Woman Who Walked Into the Trees

The first thing I remember is the sound of the house breathing.

I was four—small enough that the world still felt too big, too bright, too

untranslated. The floorboards were warm under my feet, the air thick with the

smell of pine and solder from Dad’s workshop drifting in through the hall.

Somewhere in the walls, the inverter hummed its low, steady pulse. I didn’t

know what electricity was back then, but I knew the house was alive.

She knelt in front of me in the living room, her knees sinking into the old

woven rug. Sunlight filtered through the tall windows behind her, turning her

hair into a halo of gold. I remember thinking she looked like a storybook

drawing—too soft for the sharpness of the world.

Her hand cupped my cheek. Warm. Certain.

“You are exactly where you need to be,” she said.

I didn’t understand the words, not really. But I understood the feeling.

Like the world had clicked into place for a moment.

She stood. Smoothed her coat. Gave me a smile that felt like a secret meant

only for me. Then she turned toward the open door.

Dad was in the kitchen, pretending not to watch. He always pretended not to

watch her.

She stepped outside.

The trees were tall then—taller than they are now, or maybe I was just

smaller. The air smelled like rain even though the sky was clear. She walked

forward, slow and deliberate, like she was following a path only she could

see.

One step.

Two.

Three.

And then she was gone.

Finishing the full draft this weekend.
More fragments soon.

thanks. I am proud of this work

What I really like about this series is it's 100% new and original. Even if you don't like sci Fi the story is good
