Hello my name is Tom and I’m an addict.
When I need ink or toner for one of my printers I buy it ‘Open Box’ from a random person on eBay for two thirds of the typical new price on Staples or Amazon or Office Depot.
On the rare occasion I need a replacement camera or lens I buy it ‘Used - Like New’ or ‘Open Box’ from B&H or Amazon, often saving hundreds of dollars.
I needed an insulated Carharrt shirt-jac recently and got what I needed ‘Lightly Worn’ from a seller on eBay for over half the price than anywhere else, less than even Carharrt Reworked. It turned out to be brand new.
When I truly need something I try to practice patience. I got a brand new coffee Thermos at Goodwill recently for $3.
Stacked on top of these epic savings, I get cashback in one way or another for almost every purchase I make – Rakuten, Honey, RetailMeNot, Lolli, 5% from Paypal on groceries. Those rewards all get funneled into Bitcoin.
I am addicted to spending less, and spending wisely.
Thank you for listening.

That's not an addiction-- that's a superpower! I do the same thing. I search for things I need on Amazon then buy it for 1/2 price used on eBay. Though I haven't tried any of those cashback rewards things. Or if I can't find it anywhere else I'll set up an e-mail alert for an Amazon price drop with https://camelcamelcamel.com
