pull down to refresh

A lawyer is forced to defend a judge, while defending other clients, and trying to find punishment for the guilty and provide justice for the innocent.

Great movie from 1974, and Al Pacino, as usual, is doing a daaaamn good role.
This movie shows perfectly how the so called "justice system" is just a charade, a theater in front of clueless people. Is not about justice, is not about truth, is just a game and 2 sides that both want to win, no matter the truth.

You can watch it here

Without a justice system you would be a quivering wreck.
People easily revert to tyranny when there is not established law and order and enforcement of it.
The tendency for justice systems to be corrupted does not refute but highlights this problem.
Good government relies upon sound laws based on reason and precedent- not the arbitrary law of the jungle brutality and tyranny you will have without good government.

Look at @DarthCoin - Incapable of responding in a good faith reasoned manner- exposing himself as an hysterical tyrant and hypocrite.

Good faith reasoned debate is our best defense against tyranny ~ and @DarthCoin is demonstrably incapable of it.

@DarthCoin, you're on a roll. You are highlighting all my favorites. Pacino is so good in this.

I think I'll convince my family to watch it tonight. It's been a few years since I've seen it.

As Kevin Flannagan from Brehon Law said, this jurisdiction system is more like two lawyers summon spirits (corporations) to fight each other using legal terms like spells.

I've learned from the time was a kid all the to now my whole life story is about the negligence of the same system. And right now working on getting out of it and moving forward while learning ways to help myself so that can help others.

@Darthcoin wanks on endlessly about how bad governments are and how the individual will act logically when left to his own devices.

Yet @Darthcoin is a perfect example of the self serving hypocrisy that is central to human nature and why we have governments and legal systems.

@Darthcoin claims he lives on The Bitcoin Standard' yet refuses to use Bitcoin here on Stacker News.

He loves to virtue signal but does not match his words with actions.

When his hypocrisy is pointed out he defaults to name calling, ridicule, trolling and evasion of the facts and issues raised.

@Darthcoin is a hypocrit and perfect example of why good government and legal systems are the best protection against the self serving hypocrisy and duplicity inherent in human nature. Without them you have tyranny.
