genuinely surprised by this - it's a 70's classic - the album cut is longer, and has the 'metal on metal' section, and an admittedly longer than necessary outro, but is a fundamental piece of electronic music history - along with the entire 'computer world' album a few years later, (which is one of my favourite albums OAT), it's definitive.
It's just a personal thing with me. I don't like electronic music. I guess I'm a roots guy. I find the synthetic sounds and repetition very irritating. I clearly don't get it.
I'm not an electronic music aficionado particularly either, but these tracks exemplify the form (similarly to how James Brown did with funk - i'm not a big funk guy either, but some of his cuts are sublime) - it's utterly distinct from most of it's peers in that era.
Maybe give Computer World a spin, it's theme and presentation are some of their best work, plus the album clocks in around just 35 minutes, not too long to suffer, lol
Our neighbor loves to belt it out loudly during some singing sessions 3 days a week. Been doing that for close to two years yet still can't hit a tune.
At least she sounds happy and seems to enjoy it. So I can't really hate on her for that.
She does the same to Black Velvet. Unlike Cher's stuff, I actually did not mind that song before, but now it has been tainted for eternity.
the cold never bothered me anyway -- whatever that song from Frozen was. My daughter really liked it for a long time.
Let it go. My daughter had a frozen castle that would play that song when you pressed a button.
Fortunately we donated it with a bunch of other toys recently.
may the lord have mercy on whoever now possesses it.
my daughter loved that song, but she's too cool for it now
Haha
Nice choice. Here's mine:

I was never a kraftwerk fan but I did like some 80s synth pop.
Believe by Cher.
