Just bought a Macbook Air after 2+ decades of being a PC user after my Asus laptop stopped charing...
Tough getting used to things but I just wanted to stop worrying about battery life and I mostly live out of browsers these days... will see how it goes.
As someone who is not sympathetic to Apple at all, I do have to say the MacBook experience has been superior to any windows laptop I've used recently
I don't know why I've been skimping with budget model laptops for so long... just having this Air with 24GB RAM over my stupid vivobook with 12GB ram is so much smoother.

It’s a map with the actual countries area! In yours, the countries near the poles are shown way bigger than they actually are.
You can't preserve all geometric properties, so these areas are better but the distances and straight line paths are a mess

i took everyones points into consideration, and it seems like the best course is to leave it as is. I cant depart with the identity of being a muser (thanks again @SatAttack), and ultimately i think we have gained foothold through clarity of purpose, and repeated great, contributions. Work is mounting, but I took the time out to belanja (treat) this ex-student to lunch. Owing to my change in school, I had missed out on his graduation ceremony, so this was my small way of making amends.
I’m old enough to be his father, so it was hard to keep the conversation going since this was actually the first time we sat down for a prolonged chat. But effort was invested from both ends, so I guess it wasn’t too painful.
After that lunch, he sent me a nice message to thank me for treating him and spending time with him. In a flash, I realised that he has grown up — to be a thoughtful young man who appreciates gestures at a deeper level.
