The stackers have spoken

History is back from the archives!!History is back from the archives!!

Please feel free to post any and all things history! Not sure how long I will keep this territory active. But at the very least stackers have a place to post and earn sats talking about historical events.

One major change I made was lowering the posting fee from 1k sats to 10 sats. If it starts to get spammy I’ll increase the posting fee!

Amaaaaazing! I'll totally try to contribute

Great, sirs

👍 nice to see this...its the most interesting category

Thanks for doing this. There should be very little overlap with other territories. I have high hopes.

Thanks! Who knows maybe I’ll just DCA into SN forever territories! for the topics I am interested in.

Two more territories are archived that I would like to see active so I can post to them every once in a while.

But I would need a significant sat windfall to justify that level of sat spending

How does one DCA into forever territories? I was under the impression getting a territory forever was a one time fee of 3M sats. Do I not understand that system properly?

reply

Yes that is correct! So basically budgeting 4 to 5m sats a year to pay the monthly fees and if things are going well own the territory forever

So that like 50,000 sats a month or whatever is paying into permanent ownership? If so, that’s pretty cool.

Oh wait a minute. That math doesn’t check out by a country mile. I guess I’m still confused.

I’ll pay 50k a month 10 months
Is like 500k sats and if I decide to do forever in a month I will pay 2.95M sats that month

And 100 times more affordable than it used to be, right? If I recall, history used to be 1000 sats to post in.

reply

Yeah which is too expensive in my own opinion

At 10 sats a pop, you best believe you’ll get some posting! I can’t wait.

Really appreciate you setting this up for the community.
