We had a few friends over. Didn't stay up till midnight. Watched the NYE celebrations of various cities. Dubai and Sydney were probably our favorites. Counted down at 9pm PT with a live broadcast from Time Square in NYC.

Sick kid went to bed early, so we got to peacefully watch Only Murders in the Building last night.
Never heard of it, but it looks like it got great reviews
It's a fun murder mystery show
Love that show
Fought to stay up with my son and high school buddy visiting in California. CBS had Nashville and PBS had 60s and 70s soul performers over the years.
you're from california?
Long story - I am visiting California. But also, I was born in Los Angeles. At 9, moved to Tennessee, then at 10, to Mississippi where I lived until 26. At 26, went to Bay Area California for 19 years. Tennessee since.
The buddy I am visiting is a high school friend from Mississippi.
With fam at their home! I don't usually do that, but it was good for a once in a decade thing. We had tons of nice food, watched the countdown, had great champagne, watched fireworks outside. Then spent the rest of the night chatting with friends on Signal, sharing their countdowns, fell asleep fully content.
sounds like a good day
Watched a really good wrestling show, then went to sleep about an hour before midnight.
We watched Trailer Park Boys until 10 minutes to midnight. Then watched Ryan Seacrest embarrass himself and my city with a BS countdown show until 2 minutes past midnight. Then, I walked the dogs and we all went to bed.
Ryan Seacrest is still doing that huh? Must be a nice gig.
Also, what do you think about planet fitness sponsoring New Year's Eve? Besides the corpo vibe of it all, my friend suggested that gym membership signups peak in January, which I thought was very wise
Yeah! That made sense.
On a yoga mat, in the studio that first cemented my love for yoga. Right after we wrote wishes for the year and burned them with incense.
Really wonderful 😊
Got any New Year's resolutions?
quite a few, indeed
Sauna, lots of food and good weed with a few close friends. Tried watching some Estonian TV programmes as well but it was even worse than I remembered it, lol
Streamed the ball drop in Time Square with family. We popped some sparking tea then went to bed.
A very happy new year to everyone.
Enjoy......
