14 channels....no channel management. Most passive 10k sats I've ever earned (1 month).

Lightning is just way more adopted than when I was running a node 1-2 years ago ⚡⚡

how much did you loose when you were figuring out what is what and where is where in the begining ?

In my experience, i'd say you are even - for now :D

Also that, lol. Great point! Learning curve in Lightning node is steeeeep

Good question. People posting about their LN node "performance" usually avoid to say how much they paid in fees to maintain those channels, or they even donn't even know how to follow up that.

When they say "passive income" they do not say also the "active spending on fees".
If you run a public routing node, you MUST make your own math to be efficient. But many clueless users do not think about this, they only have in mind the bullshit "passive income"...

How much time did you spend troubleshooting and tinkering with it?

You should try it. It might help you rationally price your liquidity.

Don't bother. Here's your yield: negative after accounting for onchain costs. hfsp
