I recently got an Instax Wide 400 camera (I'll save some of you the search... It's basically a modern day Polaroid. Don't kill me for saying that plz), and it is awesome. I've loved using it and have captured some really cool images.

I want to digitize the shots I have, but can't figure out the best way. I tried scanning them in on an office printer (don't ask for a model name or anything, me and printers are mortal enemies), but they didn't come out right. The exposure and contrast was all kinds of out of whack. I've done that with photos I've gotten developed from a disposable camera and it worked fine. But something is off with these Fujifilm shots.

Are there other options? Should I try changing some printer settings (I hope not)?

This isn't very helpful, but could you return it for a wide Evo?

And this is especially not helpful, but when I was considering an instant print camera, I determined that what I really wanted was one of the printers. That way I could take photos with my phone, like usual, but print off the ones I wanted to look at regularly.

Yeah I like where your head is at. I got it because there's just something about the look and feel of one of those analog instant captures that I can hang on the fridge. But now that I have some cool shots, I want to translate that raw detail into the digital world in full quality. So I am 100% working backwards! I think it may be a fools errand to capture full quality digitally.

Thanks for the link for the wide Evo! That does look sick and I definitely think I still might snag one.
