Its happening again. Bitcoin is down 30% from the top- gold it still holding up over $4000. Glad I sold some sats and bought some gold bars. Last 4 year cycle I bought more on the way down, never believing it could ever go as low as it did. This time I have sold some at the top or near to it. If there is a Democrat President next in the USA then Bitcoin might not be over $100k for a while, maybe never? Of course speaking this way here on SN is heresy, but never was here to arsemilk sats so dgaf. If you don't try to speak the truth you will be caught up in the echo chamber circle jerking hype. The best investment is to always seek the truth. Have not given up on Bitcoin- no way- it will be resilient even though large quantities have come to be custodied by parasitic bankers and corporates, the 4 year cycle might spit out some of the parasites and give us more time to build MoE markets and communities and as always will be a buying opportunity for those who want to hold hope. Death to the dollar and the parasitic fiat debt slavery bankers cartel. Long live the Bitcoin protocol and all who embrace this decentralised algorithmically programed and principled money free of the debasement of politicians and bankers. Only buy, hold and use Bitcoin if you want to be part of the peaceful revolution to build an alternative to fiat debt slavery.

One day, eventually, we will all use Bitcoin. It is the digital capital network of our civilization. Make of that what you will.

You make a statement of faith. Your statement is one of hope, but not certainty.
Humans are frail and weak as individuals. While western civilisation makes a cult of individualism it is through collective action we generally achieve wealth and security. The nation state remains a significant factor in the wealth of nations and Bitcoin challenges one of governments most potent levers.
Bitcoin has some amazing characteristics- arguably an improvement upon gold- but gold has itself been largely captured by governments and bankers...the same fate could befall Bitcoin too...time will tell. How many people really want to be free?

One day, when we are all dust, Bitcoin will still be here. Cranking out blocks every 10 minutes. Validating transactions, destroying and creating UTXOs. That is a thing of beauty, of elegance.
One day the world will figure that out and it will be astounded… and in my opinion it will be so obvious.
Bitcoin will survive us all and it will be beautiful.

I read something similar about BTC-Gold at one of my friends the other day. It is a interesting topic to follow and study. If indeed is a correlation than we truly live in a matrix.
