Do you recommend any browser?
Is firefox ESR still ok?
If not what is best to use on linux laptop?
I also like Midori as a lighter weight browser.

I use LibreWolf on desktop and IronFox on android. I sync both with Firefox sync as they both are forked and hardened on a firefox base.
For a chromium based browser, I use Vivaldi.

No recomiendas Brave 🦁 porque no sirve para todos los países, a veces no te traduce las páginas, la paga es poca y siempre te están pidiendo propina. Di tú y no es de pollo.

Well, those are pretty lame reasons tbh... I bet there's some better argument against Brave, right?

I confess for some of the middle sections I only read headers and screenshots because I'm familiar with those features and capabilities of Brave. Is there anything that I missed?

Quite probably if you think the reasons described therein for avoiding Brave are all lame.
Either that or your moral compass is wired very differently to mine and the authors.
I do agree that some of the reasons given will not bother some people but would think most people would find some of the reasons given problematic at least.
In totality the Brave ethos/culture/record looks highly compromised.
