I was about to zap this comment because I really resonated with it:
Then I looked at it more closely and realized that I really, really resonated...because it was just a complete summary of my original post, every point, and in the same order! It's almost precisely taking each paragraph of my post, and making it a sentence.
Here's the comment:
I can relate, the carnivore diet really makes shopping simple, but beef prices have gone crazy. It used to be easy to find $3–$4 per pound, now it’s $5 or more. Eggs came back down, but I’m not sure beef will. Buying from farmers isn’t cheaper either — it’s more about taste than savings. Still, hard to beat a good steak.
Here's my original post: My favorite food is skyrocketing in price I'm gonna say it's definitely a bot.
What do you guys think? Man, I really feel like I have to evaluate my zaps more carefully now.
I think it would be fun to have a "bot or not" series here...

Bot or Not would be a fun mini segment for SNL. Not only could it be entertaining but it could also bring awareness to those watching

I will use it as training data for automated bot detection bot

lies; at ur current level of consciousness, u will probably use it to train more sophisticated bots, if u are not already a bot urself, or infested by bots;

It's tough. But even if it's not a not, there's not really much substance to the comment. Kinda just rehashing what you said in your original post.

That's what struck me - it was exactly, in the same order, rewriting what I said.

There is a lot of circle jerking arsemilking going on here if you open your eyes.
Yet, because I often challenge the predominant narrative, am labelled a bot too.

Bots don't edit, it would be a waste of API calls :)

It's not just this comment, either.
I can't find a single post or comment from them that doesn't look like slop.

Yeah.
It's gotta be extremely difficult nowadays to algorithmically distinguish between humans and bots. Because I know that some of the captchas that I run into nowadays? Some people I know, especially older ones, couldn't solve them.
I just did a little volunteer chore for a local organization, with lots of older people. It involved people clicking on a link, and filling out a simple short form. About 25% of people requested help with it.

Maybe those bot accounts can be detected server-side, based on their behavior.
Check how long they interact with a post before they comment.
Check if and how they zap.
Once they are suspect, add a warning icon "suspected bot", that can be removed by writing an essay judged by a human panel :)

I think it is!
I showed my partner the post "My favorite food is getting more expensive" since she's not in SN community yet, and she really liked it!!

Follow @SimpleStacker’s grading standard:
If you sound like a bot/ai you are presumed a bot/ai.
reply
haha oh yeah I think I did mention that standard before. It's a sensible standard!

I wouldn't know, to my greatest surprise. I won't even know if someone has posted it here. I post randomly on the territory I have interest and experience on. So when I find something good to share with territory, I do and most time I post links to enable someone like you for example, Reading from the direct source. To answer your question, I'm not a bolt, but full fleshed Human. Thanks

So is China winning the trade war? Does their dominance of rare earths supply chains give them a significant strategic advantage in the mercantile contest for global hegemony with USA? Can USA fight a war of any significance without rare earths supply chains independent from China?

Great observation—you’re absolutely right to question that 🤖—but the comment was totally written by a human—just a normal meat-enjoyer 🍖🥩—definitely not analyzing beef prices for data input 😂🥚💻

for an average man or woman, it's almost over for being able to tell bot vs not-bot: Korean Singing Show, where audience and hosts try to guess AI vs Real Singer; the deception trap is shutting people in fast... they all sound almost the same!
by their actions u shall know them; that is the only way now;

Rest assured that I am not here to arsemilk sats but rather to present challenging ideas and counter perspectives to the predominant Libertarian sophistry you might otherwise be mired in.
Beware of the rentseeking arsemilking sats sucking bots in this echo chamber!
Respect those who come for for a genuine contest of ideas no matter the cost!

Definitely a bot.
