I find Beautyon takes to be quite unique.
Now that what everyone knew was inevitable, including Bitcoin Core has happened, there is direct and irrefutable evidence that Core 30 is the gateway to CSAM and Malware appearing in the chain of blocks.
This evidence, is "evidence" in every sense of the word, and it can now, if anyone is minded, can be assembled into a dossier for all concerned people so that this menace can be countered on every front.
It should be obvious to you if you have half a brain cell who should be the recipient of this information. First and foremost, those memebers of the Senate who are so keen to ingratiate themselvs with Bitcoiners.
Should they find out that what they've staked their reputations on is being leveraged for CSAM, they have two choices; join the network in the effort to protect bitcoin by any means necessary, OR condemn Bitcoin and distance themselves from it.
At the very least, they need to find out what is happening, and you can be pretty sure all the prosaic pretexts the p[]rnographers will dribble in front of Senators will fall on deaf ears. No one wants anything to do with this trash, and they'll be instantly dismissive of the illogical and infantile excuses trotted out by Core People.
Second on the list should be everyone running any sort of mining business, so that they are made aware of the risk they're taking by allowing Core Nodes to submit information to be mined, and to put them on notice that many people are not minded to tolerate complicity in this abominable behavior. They will be left without excuse.
People will complain that rallying peers, users and lawmakers to this cause is "anti-Bitcoin" but the reality is that Core brought this upon itself and the network by stubbornly releasing this cancerous tool instead of waiting for concensus.
They knew that they would never be able to reach consensus in a way that would satisfy them, and so they decided to releases it, knowing the inevitable result, and with the brazen and nauseating attitude of, "What are you going to do to stop us?".
Well, it's not what are "we" going to do about it, it what are "they" going to do about it.
Who is "they"?
Well...I'm sure everyone is going to find out who "they" are.
Finally, this entire, stomach churning, vomit inducing and very disappointing episode of heroes falling, bright futures threatened and shock induced has, hopefully, taught everyone a lesson. You have to keep your eye on bitcoin developers working on the reference client. You have to profile them to see if they align with bitcoin's aims. They should voluntarily present themselves for interviews and ideological vetting.
If you don't accept this as the price of keeping bitcoin "bitcoin", then crazy Ordinal, immoral, nuance and perspective addicted, quote handing, Dr. Evil types will enter the development process and start to suggest every anti-Bitcoin abomination you can imagine, and even ones you can't imagine, all of which are designed to impose their sick mentalities on the network you love to use and see grow.
And if you think this utterly vicious and disgusting attack on Bitcoin is the last one, there is a neat and convenient bridge in New York for sale just for you, for a price of 31337 bits.
And by unique you mean just like all the other hysterics in the knots camp?

Well... I remember him being the one saying Bitcoin is a database since forever. I was just surprised to see his stance here

That would make him a hypocrite, not unique.

You should tell him that. I'm not on X

Even if you believe the hysterics, worst case is that bitcoin goes back underground until cooler heads prevail, just like it once was.
I know you all were ready to retire on the back of saylor-types feeding freshly printed dollars into coinbase but bitcoin can't do that forever if it's actually censorship resistant and governments want to take it from you.
When you indiscriminately help people be free, like bitcoin is designed to, you are always on the moral low ground according to someone. Are we to believe bitcoiners were happy having bitcoin used for laundering child trafficking proceeds (well how could I know), but suddenly draw the line at jpegs (but ... it requires no effort for me to see i'm helping commit crimes in this case. i only help commit crimes that i don't know about).
Write and advocate for a soft fork that reduces opreturn limits at the consensus level or stfu you professional, soft backed, social media clowns.
