I've just came back from my "citadel" harvesting these fruits. Do you know their latin name and/or your local name ? What you can do with them ? When is the right time to harvest? I use them a lot, but I want to see if stackers are also "touching grass" and know how to live "from the land"...

Looks like blueberry to me. We have a few bushes at our citadel.

Harvest time varies by region but summer is what I expect you mean.

You eat them. Right off the bush or make a pie or cobbler with them. They are delicious and good for your body. Growing your own food is another act of rebellion against the state. Anything that makes you more independent and strong is a win against tyrannical overlords.

mirtilo. I ate a ton of that stuff this summer, fresh off the farm right near me. I got a few frozen ones to munch on this winter.

If it ain't a myrtillus, it's gotta be 'abrunheiro-bravo' (Blackthorn, Prunus spinosa). We have that in Portugal too, but not around my way.

You eat them. They are really tasty. But unless you live far up north you picked them too early. I think the folklore says to pick them after the first freeze. That's what we do. Other use cases include jam (to use as a side for meat) and alcoholic beverages (wine or spirits).

Exactly that. We just had the first freeze. This year we have sooo many. Not every year are getting many fruits. You know them well, yes I do a liquor and jam with them. Delicious. Few years ago I made also some wine. Is not a strong wine but a curative wine due to high concentration of Vitamin C.
