pull down to refresh

Just found this forever-draft for fiction month in my notes:
“When all of this—shshsh—over, I want you to know tha—shshshsh” The feed completely lost the signal now. He waited for a few seconds to see if it would come back, but it didn’t.
“Sir, the Ishimura was hi—“ someone screamed but was interrupted by an explosion rocking the whole ship. Blaring alarms went off that seemed far away. Figures tried to grab whatever they can to not be flung around. While he was regaining his balance after almost violently hitting his head on the panel, a million thoughts raced through his mind, competing for his attention because they knew this might be their last chance.
“What hit us? Where are we hit? How bad is it? Is everybody safe?”
But no thought seemed to be as important as if this was the last time he saw her. She was on the Ishimura.
Is this the Ishimura incident that you were referring to?
reply
