So today I decided to onboard a new stacker whom I have been communicating with about stacker.news, so she decided to join us. @UDorathy55. you are welcome.
So during the on-boarding process, the registration was very quick via twitter, but the choice of wallet was a little difficult. I personally make use of Wallet of Satoshi, but I wanted her to try something else. So we first of all tried Lifpay wallet; the registration process wasn't okay based on the error massage they kept showing when I tried to input the code they sent to her email in the required box. So we had to download Minibits wallet, which didn't require email registration but we needed to copy and save the seed phrase. I did that for her and everything went very successful. Only left to test the wallet by sending a little sat to the wallet or zapping her.
I think the only thing am struggling to do now is how to attach spending wallet.

By the way, I recommend coinos.io as the easiest lightning wallet in the world to “register” for. I don’t use it for sn, so I don’t know if it’s good for that. But it’s the easiest thing in the world to get going with.
I will second CoinOS , I personally use it as the my wallet attached to SN.

please don't cry now, I know you worked hard for all those wallets connections implementation, but most of them are just custodial solutions, that doesn't fix anything for SN, just throw the dead cat to somebody else...

I think I have changed that to wallet of Satoshi. She kept complaining she needed to use wallet of Satoshi.

Just out of interest: why do you feel the need to immediately attach a wallet for sending? Isn't paying QR codes to zap good enough in the beginning?
For posting or replying, you don't have to pay QR codes because you can use credits. You can even also zap them, even though I think we shouldn't allow zapping credits. I wonder if stackers are attaching wallets for sending because they don't want to send credits?
LifPay is not maintained anymore and should not be available since over 8 months now. Or there is another lifpay? @ek maybe time to remove it from the wallet list?

Minibits also supports sending via NWC (Nostr Wallet Connect).
Their lightning address doesn't work for me though (it never finds a route), so I am using the one from npub.cash
