Favourite day of the week?
  • Monday blues is a feeling of sadness because one must start a new week.
  • From here till next Tuesday refers to a great distance or a long time.
  • Blackout Wednesday is the night before the Thanksgiving holiday in the USA, which is alway a Thursday.
  • Throwback Thursday is when you post a photo of yourself and the photo must be from a different era in your life.
  • ‘Thank God It’s Friday’ refers to satisfaction with the end of the work week.
  • Saturday night special is a cheap and small gun.
  • Your Sunday best are your smartest clothes.

Days seems similar to themselves, even sunday could be for doing small jobs in weekend.

Funny how each day carries its own cultural weight. “Blackout Wednesday” especially feels like a modern ritual disguised as tradition. Makes you wonder how much of our weekly rhythm is shaped by habit more than intention.
