He has been all about the Brew Crew for a while. I admit I didn't believe in them as a legitimate world series contender but they looked great today and they should roll over the Cubs.
I actually haven't started watching yet. My family is out for the day visiting friends so I am trying to finish a couple things up around the house and have to take the dog for a walk but thought I would get the post up for anyone else. I did see the Cubs jumped out to an early lead.
Yeah. My buddy asked me to go but I told him no. Only for the world series. I went to a bunch of playoff games in the 15/16 runs but they didn't make the WS either year so if I am going to shell out for a playoff game I want to make it count and want it to be a once in a lifetime experience.
womp womp. A lot of people didn't pick and some people joined starting in round 2. Good news for you is there are two more rounds but you will definitely be at a disadvantage.
Huge. That and the Lukes hit were the game. Take control tomorrow. Fried is good but they can get to him. They can't chase. He threw so much breaking stuff out of the zone against the Red Sox and they were swinging at almost everything. The Red Sox most disciplined inning where they actually got a walk Fried threw 20 pitches, only 8 of them were in the strike zone. Force him in the zone.
He didn’t have many pitches against the Padres, did he? Based on how pitchers are managed in the post season: I think he would have been on a short leash regardless but I’m not sure?
Looks like 4IP only 58 pitches so I see your point but still throws him off routine. Brewers definitely don't look rusty. Hopefully the Jays follow suit.
