Recently, they've noticed that there are people who, instead of answering calls when their cell phone rings, prefer not to and then text or send messages to the caller.
With the most common question: What happened? Why were you calling me?
Any explanation?
I've seen it a lot here in Latin America. I think people are too lazy to talk, even on a call...
Or maybe they spend so much time with their phone in their hand, sending messages and liking junk content on social media that answering the call seems like a hassle, and they prefer to keep watching stupid things.
I think our society, thanks to the misuse of technology, has made people much more individualistic, and even answering a simple call where they would hypothetically have to exchange ideas or provide some explanation seems like a waste of time.
Let's exchange ideas...
It is something complicated, but although I see many people trapped in social networks. I still see many people who go on the street talking on the phone.
Send a text asking, what happened? I would do it if I don't manage to answer the call, for being busy in another activity, or for not having the phone nearby.
Personally, do not usually answer unknown numbers.
But if the phone rings and I see someone's name, my mind immediately thinks that it means something to me or needs something, the most logical thing is to answer at the moment. Do not let the phone sound and then ask what happens.
I guess whoever opts for the last option is because he simply does not want to attend the call.
