This question reminded me of my colleague from the BD side of the business where I was CTO, a long time ago. We were sitting in the Anaheim Delta bar after meeting with a future customer and their booze was crap, except for vodka, so we went full out.

When a new event is all over the internet / social media (hot topic) I just relax and do not say anything about.

Just watching what others say and observe their reactions. It's amazing to see how so many they reveal themselves and expose their "affiliations", true intentions, mindset, agendas, etc. Then ... many of them just disappear, like ghosts. Many are just sheeps, repeating what others say, many are clueless that want quick answers, many are just instigators, many are part of the problem... but few are just watching and observe impartially.

Many people still think with their feelings instead of brains and that's why will have strange reactions to the whole internet manipulation.

I always keep in mind: problem - reaction - solution. And this is not from now, it comes from many years ago, when I was a kid struggling to survive in a communist regime, where every fucking day was like this: (they create a) problem - (wait for people's) reaction - (then come up with a) solution.

I never react to (their) problems and never accept (their) solutions.

That's my conclusion, yes. With the third (middle) option spending at least a day extra, potentially more, for each closed-source release.

Until now, I've been reviewing every release of all my apps and Graphene, which takes me about a week of work time per month, just to be secure from gangsters hacking anything other than the NSA. I'm not even secure against nation states.
