Thats interesting because I dont see any signs of that at work. If anything Republicans are trying to defuse the PR issue that Israel has become thanks to Hamas's PR and gullible mainstream media. I guess we will see pretty soon if Israel acts or not given the recent reporting.
I would find it surprising if they did move forward with this idea in West Bank and Gaza. I personally think they are trying to get the Gulf States who have not joined the Abraham Accords (Saudi mainly) to join and help finance the rebuilding and leadership for those areas.

I am curious how it will play out if they do move into Gaza City. Given how bad the everyone fumbled the Rafah phase and how people kept saying it was going to be a complete blood bath and it turned out to be one of the lowest casualty rates in the war so far.

Personally, I'm not surprised. By the way, people are starving, who cares. If someone else had done the same thing to Israel, they would have already been excommunicated.
