It’s Sensei’s birthday today!
Falls on a Saturday, so it feels more luxurious than usual. A whole day free of enslavement from the daily grind.
My wife asked me what I wanted to do today. Actually, tbh, I would love it if she had granted me a day off so that I could reclaim my freedom and hang out with my friends. But I guess that’s not meant to be.
I chose to visit the Children’s Biennale that was held at National Gallery. It is kid-friendly, boasts some whimsical installations that strike my fancy, and allows me to deviate from my usual weekend routine. It isn’t too bad, I guess.
Looking on the bright side, I’m lucky to have a beautiful wife and two energetic kids who still want to spend time with me on my birthday. ☺️
happy bday, Sensei!
My last bday was a chill at home affair, I've never been a big celebrator, actually, so it was great for me lol

Happy birthday!
Since my birthday is the middle of summer, I rented 2 cars and went with friends to a pine forest that surrounded a bay, it was really cool and nobody was there. Loved it.

The view must be magnificent!

Happy Birthday, Sensei! 🎉 Sounds like a day filled with a different kind of freedom—one woven with art, laughter, and family. Sometimes that’s the best gift of all.
