I used to use Damus back in 2023 when I started using nostr (and still had an iphone) and really liked it. I'm definitely going to five their android client a whirl.

Still have Damus installed on my iPhone, but I mostly use Nostur and Primal now.
I enjoy Will’s Notedeck though. Can’t afford to spend precious sats on Damus Purple subscription unfortunately, so I self host it.
Can’t recommend it enough — you’ll especially like it if you used Tweetdeck in the golden days, before Twitter turned into the X shitshow.

I'm an amethyst guy myself. Although that Damus notedeck thing looks pretty wild.

Havent played around with it too much, I hopped on as soon as it was available, I thought the multiple customizable feeds were pretty cool. Havent played around with it since, let me know if you find cool stuff.

I always read good reviews about Damus, but I'm not a user of IShit, so I was missing it.
What do the stackers think about this version of Android?
I was happy with Amethyst, but I updated it yesterday and is giving problems now, and it does not allow me to download it from Zapstore.

Great for nostr. I love the diversity. It's an amazing piece of software, but I'm using in read-only mode for now, until amber support.

I personally don't really liked iphone, so been wondering what Damus have, and how it works. I'll definitely give it a try. Thanks for sharing
