Wait... so the user want a "de-googled" OS device but once it installs it, they go back installing microG and other bullshit Gs, literally going back to googled device. LOL you get you fucking deserve !
Once I use a de-googled OS, I will never go back to use ANY of google services, no matter what many will jump here to say "but is sandboxed google play" shit. I don't care, never go back to apps that DEPEND on google services ! Use Bitcoin only. That's it.

Because I'm a 50 some year old adult, with wife, kids, home, etc. I'm not some hipster living alone on a beach with 0 responsibilities. For now, real life does not work without a fiat bank.

I am 54yr old with a daughter too. But that is not an excuse not to use bitcoin and fuck fiat... finding excuses to use fiat is really dumb.

Yes. Find a better way to earn sats. Also you can use Bitwage for example, or any other service that take the employer fiat and gave you sats.

And once I have those sats, and I have to make a quick run to the wallmart for some milk. How do I pay for it? The system is about as smooth as a boulder field. If you live in the US, especially rural US. There is no one taking payment in sats or btc. Its to unrealistic for day to day life. Let alone driving my wife crazy trying to jump through hoops to do common day to day activities.
I am all for stacking sats, but some of us need to keep our feet in the real world for now. Or shit falls apart.

There is no one taking payment in sats or btc.
Then go back to fiat. Bitcoin is not for you. You are only crying like a baby. I am tired of all these pussies crying that "in my country there's nobody accepting btc"... like they are just waiting for somebody else to make that happen....
