We are counting down the best ballparks in MLB throughout the 2025 season.
Here is last week's edition. #1075320
This week we move on to #8.
Oriole Park at Camden Yards- Baltimore Orioles
Opened: 1992
Capacity: 44,970
The trend setter. Oriole Park at Camden Yards returned baseball stadiums to their classic roots and started the trend of vintage parks with modern amenities. Beautiful park with the cool warehouse feature in the background. To this day Ken Griffey Jr is the only player ever to hit the warehouse with a homerun, which he accomplished in the 1993 home run derby. It has never been done during a game. Amazing design to have the warehouse in right and all that open space in CF to showcase the greenery and skyline in the background. It doesn't have the social spaces that newer parks do but in the left field bleachers they have the bird bath splash zone where they spray fans with hoses and water guns throughout the game. Fun idea. All in all an awesome park and one that changed park design for decades to come.
On to #7 next week.
Sats for all,
