It's a coincidence that one of the builders for this project is on SN. Having someone put a face to it makes it seem more legit. My question comes from a place of ignorance, so no offense. But whenever I see these kinds of initiatives, I'm always suspicious, especially in a country like this.

Sure thing brother, it's perhaps better we stay skeptic by default. Thank you for asking :) Prospera has a unique deal with Honduras and the special economic zone we operate in is the only jurisdiction with bitcoin as unit of account. I don't know much about The Bitcoin District, but I suspect that Honduras is not the best place for a bitcoiner -- whether at Prospera, or anywhere else in the country.

That being said, if I was in Honduras already, and had the means, I'ld look into Prospera, and The Bitcoin District.
