A cryogenic sleep machine is a machine that lets you sleep indefinitely without aging. Let's assume you only have one machine, only one person can occupy it at a time, you can't produce others, and it never needs repairs.

I'd probably rent it out to the highest bidder.
Maybe @siggy47 might want to rent it out for a few bitcoin?

I would secure a contract with Jails, what could possibly go wrong?

I'd put Linus Torvalds in it and thaw him out in 10-20 years to correct whatever the soydevs did over that time.
I estimate this would extend the useful life of linux by about double that of what he spends in the meat locker.

I would use it instead of my bed try to reverse engineer it
what about you?

I'm not sure which is why I asked. I'd like to see more of the future but I'm not sure if it's worth the tradeoffs.

boring answer.
id sell it or donate it. id live my life devoted to trying to find the right person to have it. if they happen to be wealthy and want to pay me for it then great. if not, as long as they are the "right person," its theirs.
im satisfied to live and worry about life within my mortal grasp. projecting myself indefinitely into the future is not really a problem i want to have to think about.

I would test it on an animal for at least two years then wake it up and then have tests and studies ran on it to make sure it is okay.
Then I would convince my mom to enter it for a year then come out and live for a year. Hopefully doubling her time on earth (unless she passes between slumbers)
Then after that I would try to sell space and maybe charge a price to allow people to use it to extend their time on earth.
Lastly when I’m much older I would use it like that. Live a year then skip a year and do that till I die

I amount to a cryogenization service. He would charge on Sats and would be focused for those who want to wait for their Bitcoin costing $ 1,000,000,000 Once charged and frozen, the stay within the machine is not promised. Customers will be moved to a cold room, such as those used by large warehouses to save the cattle. and we will process a new customers.
Note: If I had this type of artifacts, it is obviously to enjoy its benefits in life and in the present. I don't see myself sleeping 1,000 years and waking up in a totally unknown future. as well as the character of the series "Futurama".

I think there were times in my life when I would have used it, and that time may come again, but for now, no. I have people I can't leave behind right now.

Rig it up somehow for my cat so she can sleep and not age.

I use it when the world gets too messy sleep through until we hit the Bitcoin standard or aliens show up. šŸ˜‚ But seriously maybe I jump to a future where cancers cured and lifes more meaningful.
