SN started humming with enthusiastic writer’s/creators in the last week or so (#1040070 #1043076). pen + paper bitcoin summer is happening and i’d love to get ideas from other stackers on how to promote this.

I wondered whether @car @deSign_r or @Jon_Hodl @siggy47 @AGORA had any creative ideas wrt ‘PR’ for SN. anyone else with an opinion, for that matter, please feel free to chime in.

I’m new to the territory thing. what has worked in the past?

I was thinking of making a bounty for a posters/memes to share on nostr, but I’m hesitant to pledge sats in this way without there really being an objective way for me to judge such work. is it better to commission a designer. are posters for social passe?

Here's a few things I've learned from doing the Word of Mouth Wednesdays:

most of my bounties have promoted attempts at high impact (with relatively little success). I wonder if it wouldn't be more fruitful to focus on volume: smaller bounties that go to a larger number of stackers for posting (eg 100 sats to first ten stackers to post a sn link or meme on nostr...)
Contests are good advertising. We should all post about the many different bounties on SN more regularly. (Also, I always have to remind myself of this, but you can view all active bounties on SN at https://stacker.news/recent/bounties?active=true)
Repetition. I'm probably repeating myself, but I think we could all post SN stuff on external channels more frequently without being irritating.

I like this a lot. I'm not sure if you were getting at this, but I would raise you 100 sats for each share, if this is something you wanted to do to promote the writing contests.
