I am shocked. House Leadership pulls and postpones votes when they do not have the votes.... someone messed up with the math bad... This is a huge sign of further issues to come not only with this legislation but funding the government and more.
I am stunned.....

UPDATE: It is expected for the House to try to vote again on it at 5 pm (in two hours) the President is said to be "pissed" and is reaching out to those who voted against it.

Doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me? Some of these guys probably just want to show their discontent with the party, exert their influence, and/or angle for concessions

Its a very very embarrassing thing for one since Rule votes come out of Committee and take extra time to actually enact. Most of these people are House Freedom Caucus Members and tbh there is a reason why no one likes them and why they have dramatically fallen in influence over the years. I mean even Thomas Massie didnt vote no.... that is a WILD thing that others would vote against something if even Massie votes for it!
Plus some of the "reasons" from the Reps like Luna were.... idk what she was thinking because she voted against it because she said it would allow for a backdoor CBDC... it doesnt.... not even in the slightest lol
