pull down to refresh

I've been thinking about myself a little bit more deeply and sometimes I concluded that I am square minded.
Why? Because I don't want to try or dare to try new things.
I love to travel to new places, try new food and really enjoy meeting new people. But, I am talking about this kind of things:
  • Ayahuasca retreat where I could solve my problems and follow the guru instructions... I'd rather eat some brownies with weed in the comfort of my house with my wife...
  • Sound Bath: "Join us for a deep sound journey using singing bowls, gongs, flutes & subtle electronics to create a meditative space of rest and resonance. No experience needed – just lie down, relax, and receive. ✨..." I have zero interest in trying this.
  • Tim Robbins methods: where the Guru explain how I should live my life and makes my business growth....
  • Joe Dispenza stuff: teaching me how my mind could heal my body....
  • Chakras and spirituality: all the stuff related to the energy circles and therapist helping others to clean their chakras ...
  • Religious: I went to a Catholic school, I was baptized but I don't practice or consider myself as a Catholic. In my mind, all the religious are the cause of bigger problems as war, suffering, etc. If there was a God, why causing so much suffering?
Do you believe in any off this stuff?
Are you more open minded?
What other things do you believe in?
Any of you have try any of the items I mentioned or something similar? , what does your friends think about it?, did you live improve after you went in that path?

I mean, that list kind of sounds like woo woo scam list top 5. even if most of it was legit, these industries attract charlatans like bcashers to a big block
Nothing wrong with trying any of it, and i'm sure it's great for some, but you not wanting to try it doesn't make you a squre.
Ayahuasca retreat kind of sounds like a fun trip in general. listen to a tony robbins video while eating a pot brownie and you've already done two on the list lol

Do all this stuff with the intention of "changing your mind".

Always follow your mind and heart. The older I get, the more skeptical I get of institutional science. Find a balance to keep an open mind but do what is good for yourself!

The way you are using it "square minded" seems to me to mean "isn't interested in obvious scams." The items in your list sound like scams to me. You'd do better off exercising and being more active (to heal your body) or just trying to build the thing you want to build rather than asking someone to tell you how to do it.
So, largely I think I feel the way you do about those things, but I don't think that's bad in any way. They seem like a waste of time.
