Hello Anita, let me start by congratulating you for all the work you do on the ground.
My questions:
- why did you decide to focus your work on Africa and not in Latam or South America per example?
- In your opinion, what is the biggest advantage of BTC related to Human Rights?
Not all the ATM works for selling BTC, most of them are only for buying.
But, yes you can sell BTC without KYC on ATMs, I think the maximun amount is 1000 EUR.
Another option is contacting a BTC local Community, there is always people who want to buy BTC with cash. This web is a good tool to locate the communities.
IMO the best option for buying and selling P2P is the bot on Telegram, it works worldwide.
Here is a video in Spanish I did some time ago: https://youtu.be/AIvIdkQ93ts?si=j_cORbUXnXPx67Q-
Just follow the steps on your phone.
Some time ago, the same happened in Australia...I remember watching some videos about it, a client in a bank office saying that he will use HIS money on drugs or prostitutes...The face of the bank staff was priceless.
Great work!
Education is key.
I've meet venezuelans living in Spain and Portugal that they use Binance Pay to send money (USDT) to their parents, but they don't know about BTC...
Thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge!
I was traveling from BCN to Porto. our flight was on time, but the situation in Oporto was more chaotic than BCN. No telephones, no water and no electricity.
The lines for the taxis were huge, UBER was out of service, most of the cars are electric and the only way to call are on the APP.
Our taxi driver told us, that some taxis were out of gas and the gas station were closed...
It was a odd experience seeing people buying paper maps and trying to using them while driving...without Google Maps, most of the tourist and some locals are lost...
We made to the house fine, we went to some groceries shop to buy some water and the only option was 0,5 lts bottle.
Here are some ideas:
- Organice a local BTC Meetup in your area. And add it here: https://2140meetups.com/comunidades/
- Check on https://btcmap.org/ for business BTC friendly in your area and support them.
- Orange pill a local business and add it to the btcmap web site.
- Create a Group on telegram for your local community.
You can post an order using this link: https://app.mostro.network/
When I did the video for my channel and the post for SN, it was a limit on the size of the order (around 20.000 SATS), not sure if this limit still on.
Thanks for the reply.
As an idea, it might be good to include some recommendations for users about UTXO management, in case they need to "refresh" multiple UTXOs during a high-fee period.
I was yesterday in the Zoom call you guys did.
I got a few more questions about how Liana works....
-
When I'm doing the set up for the inheritance planning, do I need to give to my heirs the secondary key or just the descriptor? Do they need access to my PC where I installed Liana?
-
On the Expanding Multi Sig Set up. On the example Liana shows, the primary keys is 2/2 multi sig. The recovery key is 2/3 multi sig. So, on this set up, you need 5 different keys? or could you use less?
Thanks!
I have moved house about 15 times...When I was a kid and my dad lost his job, my parents had the brilliant idea to sell our house, after that, we were renting in different places, so we were moving about every two years...
When I finished my studies, I moved abroad.
Moving, is a good way to decluttering and also helps you to avoid buying stuff you don't need.
IMO, the best bot in Telegram is @lnp2pbot. for buying and selling SATS no kyc.
