Hope you are well. Can anyone explain what l-btc is versus regular bitcoin and what is its usefulness compared to on-chain and lightning.

Interesting. Centralized tools are seen as cool. Perhaps true privacy won't be achieved until the next few decades or longer.


Is it time for a censorship-resistant mobile phone software. Many of the modern mobile phones use android or iOS ecosystem. Two big companies with huge marketshare. I use iOS ecosystem because I am a big fan of the user experience of iphone. The trade-off is that it is centralized and you do not have full control to implement the true developments of the app. As an example with the Damus zapping feature which wasnt added on iOS. Imagine a mobile phone ecosystem that could be downloaded that did not have an authority to unpublish apps built on it or collect data. More privacy and the ability to connect with other bitcoiners or any person who doesn't feel comfortable with data collection. The ability to build features with more freedom.

Thanks. I started with Muun which is fairly straightforward right. Did not realize there are different levels of lightning wallets in terms of their usability.

Tried to set up a lightning wallet on blue wallet. It says connect to LNDhub. Must you have an existing node address compared to Muun wallet which automatically allows you to set up a lightning wallet without the need to have a node.

It would be a cool idea perhaps to convert an arcade games place in malls to pay with bitcoin with pool/snooker tables and build connections amongst people. Using sats to pool.

Indeed. Youtube has thousands of videos. imagine having to pay a sat each time for a video to be uploaded. I think perhaps Bitcoin University said it best. Blockchain is best for money that is scarce and censorship-resistant. Maybe centralized platforms are best for most other content. As long as there is censorship-resistant money, that's ok perhaps. It gives people an option to use the money. Please see link below:
