Could be useful to cross borders with you're passwords encrypted and put into inscriptions. Also useful to whistleblowers , damn this thing will be wild.
Let people use bitcoin, we don't care if someone wants to pay thousands of satoshis for puting a JPEG or any other data, at the end of the day it's not scalable and useful.
I dont think it goes offline, it just don't save new transactions. We have a diversity of nodes some may have 32GB of RAM so it's OK. Next time I make a node i will get it 16gb RAM and reserve 8GB for the mempool on clearnet+tor+i2p , problem solved guys
If taproot had better adoption we could add cross input sig aggregation into the mix. Then we get a cheap private wabisabi cocktail.
Maybe It's just vaporware and out of my technical expertise but I like the Sia shitcoin concept. Never used it but it allows you to pay for decentralized storage. You just need to back up your seed and you can recover your data from all around the world like bitcoin. Could be very useful for a sovereign individual.
At the same time I was falling into the bitcoin rabbit hole, I was recovering from a depression, meditating on my suffering. Someday I looked at the c++ code, I had few seconds of peace and silence within me. Right now I'm grateful for open-source tech built with love.
Omni protocol didn't have success , why taro would have, plz ethereum honey pot fiat fail2ban shitcoins on bitcoin
I love the simplicity, reliabilty and focus on bitcoin to be money. Also bitcoin usage would be fragmented on 256 chains that is bad for fungibility IDK. Still better than fedimints ? At least you have global state. Lol it's funny to say that : global state
Yes, plus it would be even weirder to censor special type of transactions. As long as the Fiat type miners don't attack censorship resistance it will be fine. Then... Hardfork
If think drivechains would be used by curious bitcoiners and agora people, like people who tried to use namecoin, sia, monero. Look at RSK for example not many people use it.
I'm interested about drivechains but at the same time it would be weird to see other projects that have nothing to do with thé transfer and storage of bitcoin. Perhaps some utility that is 100% digital is OK, like sia and namecoin. But i don't like stablecoins, it's not cool that miners are responsible of providing USD denominated payment services. Don't you think ?
sounds good indeed! But you'll need to trade the simplicity of the timechain vs lightning management. I love using lightning but most people even IT people (myself included) rely on 3rd service providers for it. Lightning would need to get better tooling for people to be zen using sovereign lightning. can't be zeus and the buddha at the same time :p or maybe i'm too much of a pussy, just run that hot wallet jeeez!
