LFG! This is awesome!
You can purchase no ads using in-app purchases. I know this isn't as good as paying with sats, but at least it gets rid of the ads! We have played around with making it possible to buy things in-game using sats, but there hasn't been a huge demand from users. Definitely try out Clinch! There are no ads at all :D
We have A/B tested giving higher reward amounts and it had no impact on engagement or retention. So we don't plan to improve the reward system as it stands. However, if you join the weekend tournaments, you can win a lot more sats by competing with other people! Also, I recommend checking out clinch.gg --> the rewards are endless there!
I don't think we will in the near future. Our sweet spot is casual card and puzzle games for the time being. But I miss Lightnite so much!
Ad revenue, in-app purchase, subscriptions, partnerships. Rewarded games increase LTV significantly more than the % rewards we give out.
Skill-based wagering fees are an additional monetization layer on top.
We are really targeting the iGaming and sports betting industries for the foreseeable future. We're taking the power of our games suite and payments tech and bringing it and the power of bitcoin to these industries.
Can you hop in our Telegram and Jack will troubleshoot this for you live? https://t.me/clinchgg
All of the games besides Clinch (which you can access at clinch.gg). You can find a full like of the games (and links) here: thndr.games/bitcoin-games
Nothing in the pipeline at the moment! Are there examples that you like / recommend that we could check out?
It is definitely growing but is obviously experiencing a lot of the restrictions (much like other regions). It's really promising to see that the demand is there, but the industry will likely just have to grow slower than ideal due to some of these restrictions (like you mentioned).
TBH it attracts users who are less likely to spend money in game and they are very difficult to monetize with ads. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but knowing this sooner rather than later is helpful when building.
