Yes, I'll leave this to Dave. Also, I've made the decision to leave SN permanently. I’ve had enough of the abuse and trolling here. It’s better for me to move to HN or just go back to being a lurker on other social media platforms. I can’t keep hurting myself and others by seeing disgusting name-calling and memes every day. We use a platform because we want to share, learn, educate, and have fun not to be trolled or harassed daily. It’s too much for me now.
By the way, you’re doing great! It’s your first day. Good luck here! Also, I’ve deleted all the comments I made on your bio because of some misunderstandings —I don’t want to ruin it like some people did to mine. Have fun!
Merry Christmas to you and @DesertDave (Santa isn’t evil, Dave 🎅😉)
Good Bye
This can be true, but DC accuses me of assmilking @DesertDave, which is false. People interacting with each other how can that be called assmilking? I zap his content, and he zaps mine because we like each other's content here. Many people here interact with each other, and if you've built a friendship-like bond, you would definitely engage with them if you find them posting something interesting. Assmilking would be commenting nonsense on someone's post without even zapping that's what should be called assmilking.
Because of these accusations, I stopped posting on Alter_native, thinking Dave wouldn't find and engage with me or zap my posts anymore. But it's just—I don't know—a small friendship bond we built, along with the shared interests we had. Just because of supporting me, he’s already facing a lot of trolling, and it’s because of me. I think interacting with friends here is not assmilking.
Yes, summarizing emails, taking key notes during meetings, analyzing data, creating any kind of content, and helping with any kind of coding assistance, etc.
I use a Android phone that is rooted, deleted bloatware crap that comes pre installed and use F-Droid to install alternative open-source apps. I always keep the firewall on. Been doing this even before I got into Bitcoin. However, my workspace devices are completely within the Apple ecosystem, which feels terrible for privacy. I can’t do much about it, so I just avoid doing anything personal on them. These devices all have AI integrated, which can be annoying but helpful, depending on your needs.
Tell her that It’s just what happens when adults forget to turn off the lights, close the door and suddenly think ‘Damn! how did that happen?’ Stick to your Legos for now!
Just kidding, by the way. Be very careful what you tell her because kids are unpredictable. It would be embarrassing if you're in a busy restaurant and she shouts, 'Mommy, what's sex?' So, answer her every question don't avoid it because kids are curious and smart.
Found these two websites for you : https://educateempowerkids.org/common-questions-kids-ask-about-sex-and-how-to-answer/
I want to see you happy, not regretful, thinking "Oh, if I had done this, things would be different. You've got this one awesome life no matter what happens, do what you like!
Who watches the watchers? In an age where surveillance captures our every move the real danger is not in being seen but in being controlled. Without transparency those who hold the power to observe also hold the power to manipulate. Are we building a safer sosociety or surrendering our freedom piece by piece?
I convinced my friends not to just see BTC as an investment to exchange for Fiat and try to create a small ecosystem to pay in sats at least? We together convinced one restaurant owner to accept it in BTC, but he got too much demotivated by his jerk family members who brainwashed him that BTC is associated with malicious things, so he rejected it, and I'm probably sure he'll never look back again. He was so scared that he requested us to take sats back and instead give it in fiat.
I'm trying hard to convince my colleagues, but no one is showing real interest. Looks like I didn't do much for Bitcoin, but it was much when I see no one is even interested 1%. Convincing friends was a great task and now they are convincing their friends and family members, so at least it has started as a small spark. Maybe years later it will turn out as a big fire? I've got lots of plans for 2025, like planning a huge meetup, but the problem is why would anyone show up when they wouldn't get anything? So, I'm making plans for the meetup on what should I do so people will come. Even if meetup convinced atleast 20% of people who joined I would say I did something real for Bitcoin.

I really like that you seem clear now. I already told you that you've that hustle mindset. Now do whatever it feels like you need to do because I want to see you not regret things that you may say like, 'I wish I would've taken that advice.' I didn’t listen to society, my family, my friends. I did what seemed right to me and pursued my career. I've got this one life, and I would be responsible for making it great. Good luck, sir!
They asked stuff like my citizenship, my net worth, my crypto trading experience, whether I was employed, why I had an account (I started wondering that myself), what was the source of the funds I used on the account (gambling winnings, gifts). There was no choice of not applicable or none of the above. I had to answer each question to move on.
Damn! All you wanted was some bitcoin for your groceries, and they’re over here writing a Netflix docuseries about your financial life.
