I love it when someone tries to be super disrespectful and dishonest with me... I will be the pettyest most nitpicky coworker in the world if you double down on being a dick to me. RIP to that coworker who I asked to apologize and put it behind us but she hit me with a double down... I see you
EDIT: She refuses to socialize with most of our coworkers because they should come to her and I have not only done stuff to clean up issues after her but let her get away with murder... don't try to out petty me is the lesson shes going to learn
That is something I have thought about as well. I assume the reasoning behind not doing that boils down to wanting to keep the same mining power and not divide the community. However, I am not sure adding all of this stuff to BTC works either
Whoop whoop!!! Love to see A&M continue to expand its research and investment in the crypto space and not only working to help improve it but also bring BTC and crypto literacy to others!
As an A&M Grad the way the University sets up things like this he couldn't take it with him. The University is going to secure a lot of whatever is developed whether it be IP or some other sort of contract that will essentially lock it in with the University.
A&M has also been a pretty big research university player in the BTC space for a few years now. We had classes on blockchain when I was there (I graduated in 2020) and we did a ton of research on BTC and emissions showing it was not nearly as bad as people say. Riot Platforms was a huge fan of ours and would use our studies. We even had some students who dropped out I believe and launched a BTC company that harnesses the gas flaring at oil platforms, pipelines, and refineries to harness that energy into mining BTC. Essentially getting rid of the bad greenhouse gases and mining BTC.
We had one late last week but not a lot was made out of it... I don't think anyone is going to bat an eye unless we have a string of larger-midsized ones in a row like earlier on
I didn't watch too much basketball this last year but when I did it was mainly just the Rockets. I was super impressed by two of our rookies who could emerge as great role players. Cam Whitmore I had to google to see who he was and was impressed with his ability to step it up when the team needed it. The other people might see it as a disappointment given his draft status but Amen Thompson when healthy was really pretty great in his role off the bench as well. With those two in particular the team had a heck of a lot of depth!
Ironically enough I do think Fred VanVleet served a great role as an anchor to help right the ship and even though I personally despise his antics Dillon Brooks is extremely good at being irritating. He doesn't take it to the Draymond Green level either but does toe that line.
Just curious is there a way to go back and see where you finished in MSM? I want to see if I cracked the top 30 or not!
To me their biggest money maker is going to be the electricity credits the state of Texas gives them when the grid needs more power and Riot spins down their miners. Last July or August they mined a couple hundred BTC but the state gave them $7+ million for turning off their machines for 3 or 4 days if I remember correctly. Thats just a crazy win for them!
Oh no I am at -13k lol! From what I saw yesterday I think @k00b had said we were moving back to daily rewards so I assume its just due to the MSM leaderboard still being there and the amount of Sats in that pool not enough!
