When did you first get into Bitcoin, and what's your story?

I remember getting into Bitcoin in 2019 when our government announced they would ban accounts related to crypto transactions. However, I didn't truly learn about Bitcoin; I just thought it was another hype currency, and like many others, I fell into altcoin traps, losing money.

But here's the thing: Bitcoin isn't just about making money. Once you learn it, earn it, and actually own it, you realize it's about freedom, security, and control over your own finances. That's when it stops being a "scam" and starts being a revolution.

The government, I can't even buy BTC here via bank or any app; it's purely peer-to-peer, so it's a long way to adopt Bitcoin.

I am from Pakistan a country with a hyperinflating economy where the currency has little to no value compared to the dollar, let alone the dollar losing its value over time. We owned real estate in a village where corruption, crime, and dishonest politicians ran rampant. Overnight, the value of our property collapsed, turning what was once a solid investment into almost nothing. Seeing my hard-earned money go to work in Bitcoin feels like a breath of fresh air. No more watching my purchasing power evaporate overnight. I’ve learned that in a failing economy, you have to think beyond traditional investments if you want to actually protect your money.
