Our editorial team thought this debate contribution would bring some additional nuance to the debate hence they opted to publish the article and provide a Vietnamese translation.

DG argues that Bitcoin wins the "moneyness" race hands down vs Monero - but lacks due the inherent trade-offs of a fully auditable base layer the ability to provide the same level of privacy versus Monero.

He might, however, underestimate what is possible with Lightning in this regard - so feedback well taken :)

On that occasion:

Generally our goal is to provide our Vietnamese audience with Vietnamese translations of "classics" and in-depth essays which further their understanding of what Bitcoin is about.

In Vietnam - unfortunately - Bitcoin is still seen by the majority simply as another tool to gamble ("chơi Bitcoin").
