I posted this project on X, nostr and SN. SN is the only one where I know people actually saw it and tried it. Thanks ๐
I enjoyed making it and I think my next project should also be something web based. I'm open to suggestions!
...and that single comment has made the last few days working on this worthwhile for me. I don't normally get much feedback on my projects (to be fair, I don't think many people ever see them) so knowing one person saw it and liked it is enough, thanks ๐งก
There's 3 new episodes now. Diggnation is back :)

well, sort of. I was a developer working in finance for about 15 years, but years have passed since then and the skills I used then are largely outdated now, so I can't really call myself a 'proper' dev. In the last year or so I've made a few free bitcoin apps for windows (link above) as a learning experience and have really enjoyed that. I'm at the older end of the job market though :(
I'd love a job in bitcoin, and I'm not even picky. In the meantime I'll keep expanding my knowledge and developing free bitcoin projects... https://bxl909.github.io
"Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo" is a grammatically correct sentence in English.
Something I think would be interesting would be to have a format where you have a single guest per episode - each an owner of a company that crucially doesn't have any bitcoin integration in their business. I don't mean in terms of their treasury or whatever - I mean accepting payment for goods, services, subscriptions or whatever it is there company does.
The interview would be interesting in itself if the right guests were interviewed, but the slant of this show would be to explore why this company doesn't use bitcoin, whether it's considered it, perceived or actual obstacles , etc, perhaps with then exploring possible solutions, correcting misconceptions, and so on.
There could be lessons to learn in terms of development needed for wider adoption, and maybe even the occasional orange-pilling happening on the show
In the end, I decided to incorporate the DCA calculator into my existing app, SATSuma. There's a new DCA screen which visualises your DCA strategy and lets you change frequency, amounts and start/end dates.
The latest version of SATSuma is 2.1, which includes the new DCA screen and a bunch of other stuff, and was released yesterday on halving day!
๐ I actually tend to agree. Although I want to make a DCA calculator app, I don't DCA. myself. All in once, then stack more whenever I can.
